We believe everyone who calls Grace Church home has a purpose, and we want to help you discover it. With many ways to serve—up front or behind the scenes, with kids or adults, in your home or in the community—there’s a place for you at Grace. Not sure where to start? Join our 15-minute Next Steps Experience after any service to get connected.

Parking

Description: Welcome people as they drive into our parking lot and help them find a spot to park.

Time Commitment: Serve at one service every other week.

Requirements:

organized
willing to serve outdoors in all weather
friendly & welcoming

Hospitality

Kids Church

Check-In

Description: Welcome families, help check kids in, and keep the space safe and secure.

Time Commitment: Serve at one service every other week

Requirements:

completed Police Check
completed volunteer form
short interview
welcoming & friendly
patient
good with technology

Youth Team

Description: Build relationships with Gr.6-12 through playing games, having conversations, discussing a message in small groups, and praying together.

Time Commitment: Serve every Friday Night and once a year, lead the youth at a weekend retreat

Requirements:

complete police check
complete volunteer form

Relate to younger generations

Youth

Music & Tech

Music Team

Description: Lead the congregation through singing or playing an instrument on our Music Team.

Time Commitment: Serve at both services every 2 to 3 weeks

Requirements:

audition
practice each week to be ready for Sunday

Small Group Facilitator

Description: Lead a small group in weekly discussion questions based on Sunday's message or a specific Bible Study.

Time Commitment: One evening a week for 10 weeks

Requirements:

Listen to Sunday's message
Go over the questions that are sent out
Good at managing conversation and keeping the group on track
Sensitive to people's needs and differing situations

Growth

Care Team

Visitation

Description: Visit with those in our church family who are in the hospital or anable to physically come to church

Time Commitment: Whenever the need pops up

Requirements:

caring & compassionate
willing to go to the hospital and into people's homes
pray with and encourage people

Facilities

Description: Help maintain the facilities both inside and outside. Help fix and build things around the church.

Time Commitment: Whenever the need pops up. Usually, the need is during the day.

Requirements:

handy
good at building and fixing things
flexible to come into the church during the day
willing to pick up supplies around town

Photography

Description: Take photos on Sunday mornings and at events that capture the culture at Grace Church.

Time Commitment: One Sunday service a month and at events throughout the year.

Requirements:

good quality camera
good eye for taking photos
good at blending in and going unnoticed, so as not to cause a distraction
